Discover the Dubbo Regional Botanic Gardens. The botanic garden development began in 1999 and currently comprises of one adventure playground, one cafe and five distinctive garden spaces; Shoyoen Japanese Garden, the Sensory Garden, the Biodiversity Garden, the Oasis Valley and the Wiradjuri Garden.

The Dubbo Regional Botanic Garden is located in East Dubbo, off Coronation Drive.

OPENING HOURS

Shoyoen Japanese Garden, Sensory Garden, Biodiversity Garden and Oasis Valley Garden
Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm
Weekends 9.30am - 5pm
Closed on Christmas Day, New Years Day and Good Friday.
Open 12pm - 5pm on ANZAC Day.

Wiradjuri Garden
Sunrise through Sunset

Adventure Playground
During daylight savings 8am to 8pm*
Outside daylight savings 8am to 6pm*

*Wednesdays open from 12pm due to morning maintenance.

BOOKINGS

Make a booking for an event at the Dubbo Regional Botanic Gardens by completing the Parks, Gardens and Reserves Booking Form.

WEDDINGS

Please check availability with Community, Culture and Places Executive Support Team 02 6801 4000, then complete Council's Wedding Booking Application Form (PDF 1.6MB) and return to Council's Administration Building in Dubbo or Wellington to book in a wedding.

Submission of the form does not automatically confirm your booking. A confirmation email will be sent to you dependent on availability.

Dubbo Regional Council would like to thank all past and present members of the 'Friends of the Gardens' community for volunteering their time, skill, experience and caring spirit. Their assistance with maintaining the gardens, helping out with events and welcoming visitors is invaluable.
